Why do we have a church library?
The purpose of the library is to provide a wide variety of materials for use by members of the congregation to help in nurturing personal growth in faith and understanding of Christian life, to relate to the Southern Baptist Church at large as well as the whole Christian church.
Items selected for this collection generally reflect our denomination’s doctrines and perspectives and provide specialized resources not usually found in public libraries.

Books and non-print items are available for check-out. Materials normally circulate for 2 weeks, except for Reference books.
It is expected that materials will be returned on time. If more time is needed, renewals can be made, unless others have requested the item.
Return all items to the "Book Return" basket on the Library desk, or when we are not open we have a drop box to the right of our door.
It is expected that any "lost" or "damaged" item will be paid for by the person who last checked it out.

Special Gift Contributions
To keep the library current, the church budget includes a line allocation for library resources and upkeep.
Memorials and special gifts from members and groups are encouraged and are used to purchase selected items and equipment. Donors may assist in making selections. Donated books are accepted if suitable for the collection.
